The contest runs through the My Account. My Account is very well protected and has the following features:

• Ability to upload the business idea, feasibility study and business plan
• Feedback from the judges in your personal account after each round
• You will be able to order the 'starting up' handbook.
• Contacting other participants
• Applications for coaches
• Specific questions can be asked to the specialist consultants
• Registering for seminars and award ceremonies
• Prizes up to € 25.000,-

The New Venture Business Plan Competition is divided into three rounds. This enables you to strengthen and to make the neccessary improvements in your plan after every feedback round. After each round the entrepreneurs with the best business plans will be invited to take participate in the following round. If you have missed the deadline for the first round you may still, under certain circumstances, take part in the second round. Sign up with the community to stay updated on deadlines etc.

Plans can be sent in both Dutch and English.

Costs
Participation in the first round is free. From the second round, you pay €37.50 per team. The amount you pay is for the book "Starting Up, Achieving success with professional business planning," which is used as a guide in our competition. Several people in your team? We offer multiple books at a reduced discount:

2 books: €70
3 books: €100
4 books: €120

If you start in the third round, you also pay €37.50 per team.

Manual
The manual is specifically designed for participants of the New Venture competition by McKinsey & Company in association with successful entrepreneurs and investors. The structure of the New Venture business plan is based on this manual and provides a clear structure and tips for writing your business plan. It is indispensable for a solid and structured business plan.

Statement of confidentiality
The start of a business is an important phase. Therefore anyone involved with New Venture with insight into your plan has signed a statement of confidentiality. The competition regulations can be found here.
