The declaration of confidentiality, signed by the members of the jury, the coaches, the coordinators and the members of the organization, is also considered applicable to all those from who we receive confidential information or documents regarding New Venture 2011, as well as for the New Venture Foundation itself. Should the conditions of the declaration be violated, the above mentioned can then seek redress through the New Venture Arbitration Board or through the arbitration process.
Respecting Confidentiality of Information and Documents
Respecting the confidentiality of information and documents detailed above (unless with the express consent of the contestant) means that it will not;
Confidential Information and Documents
This "confidential information and documents'' includes, but is not limited to; all business economic, technical, financial and similar information regarding New Venture 2011 which has been provided to the contestants in any way. This includes any submissions of entries in the New Venture contest. Information that is common knowledge or that becomes common knowledge without a violation of these rules, or information that is made known by third parties without a violation of the promise to privacy, is defined as non-confidential.
Withdrawal
As a member of the jury or a coach, coordinator or member of the organization you have the duty to withdraw should you use confidential information or documents for your own purposes or for the purposes of third parties without the express consent of the contestant, be it knowingly or unknowingly.
Commencement and Completion
This statement is valid from October 1 2010, until October 1 2013.
Legal position
This statement and possible disputes arising from will be dealt with according to Dutch law.
Disputes
All disputes which occur regarding this Declaration of Confidentiality will be dealt with by the arbitration board of the New Venture Arbitration Board. The rules of this Board can be found in the competition rules. Should the dispute not be resolved by the arbitration board, it will be dealt with according to the Rules of Arbitration of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute. One juror will decide on the case. The place of arbitration is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
